The Tamborine Twilight Markets are a truly unique experience, offering a small but carefully curated selection of stalls, where each item is meticulously handcrafted by local artisans. What sets this market apart is the intentional absence of duplicate stalls, ensuring that every piece you encounter is a one-of-a-kind creation, whether it’s a beautifully designed piece of jewelry, a hand-carved wooden item, or an intricately woven textile. The market’s bespoke nature is a testament to the creativity and craftsmanship of the Tamborine Mountain community.
As the sun sets and the twilight descends, the market transforms into a magical space, with the sounds of talented young musicians filling the air. These emerging artists add an enchanting layer to the experience, their music resonating through the mountain landscape and creating an unforgettable atmosphere. The Tamborine Twilight Markets are more than just a shopping destination—they are a celebration of local talent, community spirit, and the beauty of creativity.
The country markets offer a huge range of fresh fruit and vegetables, wonderful locally produced cheeses, plants, herbs, flowers, coffee, arts and crafts, collectibles, garden ornaments, clothing, a myriad of homemade things and delicious temptations of all kinds.
There’s excellent coffee, poffertjes (Dutch pancakes), German sausages (try the “Knackwurst” with mustard – yum!) or be tempted by baked jacket potatoes or fresh corn on the cob.
Usually there’s a singer or performer on the gazebo stage, giving these markets a relaxing country atmosphere. Large shady trees keep you cool in summer, and some open areas allow you to soak in the sun on cooler days.
Situated on the picturesque Tamborine Mountain, we are a wonderfully diverse, character-filled market overflowing with things to adore.
